Orphan (and friends) present a new version of the 1987 "hard" sci-fi OVA *Space Fantasia 2001 Nights*. The OVA uses three chapters from Hoshino Yokuiobu's manga *2001 Nights* to tell the story of the settlement of colony planet Ozma in the Tau Ceti system, 11.9 light years from Earth. 1. *Orphans of Space*. Earth sends a "seed ship", containing genetic material from the Robinson family, to Tau Ceti, in hopes of find a viable planet for colonization.  2. *A Gift From Earth*. The invention of FTL spaceflight allows the Robinson's son, Adam Jr, to beat the seed ship to Ozma and terraform it into an Earth-like planet.  3. *The Songs of Distant Earth*. After most colonies have collapsed, Adam Jr leads a last band of colonists to Ozma, where he will meet his long-lost brothers and sisters.  The original subs were by Kanjisub and Shinsen-Subs (SHS).
